Biography

One of the most versatile and in demandcomposers working in British film andtelevision today, Rob Lane has won numerous awards for his work, including three IvorNovellos, a BAFTA and two RTS Awards. Whether writing for orchestra or working with samples, his music is always boldly cinematic, supporting and enhancing the drama on-screen.

Best known for his television music, Rob’s credits include John Adams, Elizabeth I, Jane Eyre, Archangel, David Copperfield, The Lost World, Longford and The Hound of the Baskervilles.

Among his most recent feature film credits are the Warner Bros. comedy, Mrs Ratcliffe’s Revolution, magic realist drama The Lives of the Saints, and the South African set thriller Red Dust.
